Sometimes I get tired of this blogging stuff because I’m tired of random people coming to my page and leaving me messed up messages like “your a fucking bitch u need to grow up… u fucking slut” (in response to one of my stories about the mens) or stupid shit like “Im cute and ur NOT ,things even out!”

Who knew that a small comment about how stupid wearing U.g.g.s in hot weather is would lead to getting more random comments than anything else I’ve written. I guess during the cold winter, people were searching for winter footwear and landed on my page. I actually deleted what I said about the particular footwear from that post because I’m tired of the wierd comments I’ve been getting on that page.

Miguel!! Someone even impersonated you by adding a comment under your name but I knew it wasn’t you because why would you leave a comment on something I wrote way back in August?

I guess I could password protect my posts but I don’t really want to. Then I think, do I really want to continue to put my business all out in the street like this? Anyway, enough about me….

Why is it April and snowing here. Damn Toronto weather. According to www.citynews.ca it is currently -6 degrees (celcius) with a wind chill of -13 degrees. Happy Spring!

Seven-Year-Old Finds Offensive Label On Couch
“It’s not often that an item intended to induce relaxation causes this much stress. But when Doris Moore’s seven-year-old daughter discovered an inappropriate label on a couch she just bought, kicking back and relaxing on the piece of furniture was the farthest thing from her mind.

The little girl approached her mom after discovering a label on the dark brown couch that listed the colour as ‘nigger brown’.

Moore was understandably shocked.

‘For me to buy couches and then the colour coming under that, nigger brown, I was floored,’ she said.

The couch was purchased as a store called Vaniak Furniture, but the manager, Romesh Kumar, claims he knew nothing about the label, saying it’s a problem with the supplier.

For Moore, and her family, who are from Ghana it’s difficult to fathom how such an offensive word could find its way on to a piece of furniture.

‘With slavery and what happened to us and the words they called us, it hits home,’ she said.

Moore is filing a complaint with the Ontario Human Rights Commission and she wants the word taken off the furniture.”
